Delivery Information

Currently, all New Zealand orders are shipped through Courier Post.

Shipping Costs and Calculations

Charges are calculated based on the weight of your order and the region where the order is to be delivered. As we are based in Auckland shipping costs are relative to this.

Shipping will be calculated on your order, when you proceed through to the checkout and fill in your shipping details. All prices are in New Zealand dollars.

Shipping Times

Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only.

Deliveries can only be made to a physical address, not a PO Box.

Most orders received by us before 10.00 am NZ Time are shipped the same business day.  Please note that a very small number of orders require extra processing time for various reasons. Those will be shipped the following business day.  Once with the courier company orders to most North Island destinations are on an overnight service and will arrive the following day. Rural deliveries may take longer, and customers should allow an additional day. Orders to the South Island should allow 2 – 3 days for delivery.  

If you have ordered an item that is out-of-stock or sold-out, we will attempt to contact you immediately. Kindly understand that a delay may also occur if your credit card was declined or for address verification if your billing address was entered

Returns

If you're not 100% completely satisfied with your purchase we will happily accept your return and provide you with one of the following options, a store credit or full refund to the value of the product's purchase price, or an exchange.  All we ask is that firstly you contact us, and secondly that you send the item back to us unused and in the original packaging, making sure that the product is in the same condition as you received it in.

  • You can return your purchase for up to 14 days from the purchase date.
  • Products must be unused and in the same condition as when you received them and in the original box and/or packaging.

Defective or damaged goods

We strive to have our products arrive at your door in perfect condition. However from our experience we know that occassionally the bigger bags of our petfood will get damaged in transit. If this happens to your order we will happily replace the damaged item. If possible please advise the courier of the damaged product before accepting the goods. We  have 5 days upon which to lodge a claim against the courier company for damages so it is imperative that you make contact with us immediately upon discovering any product damage.  Also if you feel that a product appears defective or has obvious faults upon opening a bag please get in contact immediately. Our foods are 100% guaranteed against defect.

  1. Complete the product returns form on our website. Upon completion you will recieve an RMA number which you need to have accompany the return.
  2. Using a good carton, return package via insured Courier Post Mail or other Parcel Carrier of your choice.
  3. Send returns to:

  1. Keep a record of your shipment until you have received your replacement, credit or refund.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Wholesale Petfood. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Procedures

There are ftwo options available for our customers who would like to return a product

  1. Exchange

If a product is unsatisfactory, we can offer to exchange it for another one (i.e. a different size or colour etc) or another product of the same value. Generally proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange, although we may waive this requirement if we believe we have sold the product. Please note, as mentioned above, products returned or exchanged must be unused, in a resalable condition with packaging intact and all labels etc returned with the item, or you must have made contact with one of our representatives who will authorise the return.

  1. Money Back Guarantee

Our money back guarantee is a key aspect of our business. If a customer has proof that they purchased the goods from our website within the last 10 days, they may obtain a refund. A refund will be made in the same tender as the original purchase. As mentioned above, that product returned must be unused, in resalable condition unless faulty or otherwise deficient, or have been authorised by one of our representatives.
